San Bernardino dentist Dr. Vijay Patel led an anti tooth-decay movement by giving away dollars in exchange for candy this past Halloween.
Trick-or-treaters brought their excess candy to Dr. Patel’s office and received $1.00 per pound.
This is the first year he is sponsoring a Halloween Candy buy Back.
“Kids still experienced the fun of trick or-treating, and now their piggy banks will benefit as well.” explains Dr. Patel.
San Bernardino Dentist Dr. Vijay Patel helped residents of San Bernardino and the surrounding
communities during this difficult economic period by giving
free emergency dental treatment on Saturday, October 6, 2012.
Dr. Patel and his staff of volunteers, including local dentists, delivered free dental care to needy people in their community.
“A total of about 190 patients showed up during our free dental day and we were able to treat 113 of them with various procedures ranging from dental fillings to extractions” said Dr. Patel. “However we had another 80-90 patients that were still outside at 6pm. We decided to create another event to see them, and we are going to do another Free Dental Day on Nov 3rd.
San Bernardino Dentist Dr. Vijay Patel is hosting a Halloween Candy Buy Back.
To participate, bring all of your Halloween candy, and Dr. Patel will give you a $1 for each pound you collected.
Let’s turn “Trick or Treat” into a fun and healthy event!
San Bernardino Dentist Dr. Vijay Patel is offering free dentistry to the people in his community.
Anyone with a dental emergency, or in need of pain relief, who cannot otherwise afford it, will be provided with emergency dental treatment at no cost.
Services offered: dental fillings and extractions.
To celebrate February Dental Health Month, San Bernardino CA dentist Dr. Vijay Patel offered free dental care to the less fortunate children in his community.
Dr. Patel helped the needy children of San Bernardino and surrounding communities during these difficult economic times by sponsoring 3 free Emergency Dental Treatment days – one at each of his 3 office locations.
“It was a great turn-out and we saw a total of 165 children at all our 3 office locations combined. Treatments ranged from cleanings to tooth extractions and root canals,” says Dr. Patel.
